A multi genre assignment from my creative writing class. I thought this would be a good way to get more feedback. this will have 7+ genres in this including some "bridges" that will take you from one genre to the next. Fair warning this will be very dark and sad. I have not sugar coated any of this. You get the hard real truth. I also wanted to do this to raise awareness about the struggles of having anxiety and depression. I hope that this will help someone. Echoes of the Soul: A Collection of Poems
Hi!!! i am making this new book just for my poetry. i will be a little inconsistent at first as my exams are going on so it might take more than 2 weeks to post them but as soon as my exams are done i will try to post again. thank u. All the poems inside are original and have been written about some personal issues. Trapped in my own head
She is an outcast. She finds it easier to express what she feels in the form of writing. Whether it is poems, letters or long texts. These are poems that she writes trying to describe how it feels to live with certain mental health issues, in a world that disregards outcasts. So, these are on the darker side of the spectrum. Some poems might be distressing for some readers. I personally enjoy consuming dark content, it's kinda like a coping mechanism. I really hope none of you relate with any of these :) I'll be posting only poems here, I'll try to be as active as I can. The poems are not in any order. Metamorphasize
This is a collection of poems written as a way to control a person's feelings; originally they were never intended to be seen by human eyes. This is written from the point of view of someone who struggles with emotional turmoil but feels they cannot tell others about it because their afraid it might drag them into the same torture they feel everyday. Depression is a serious thing that plagues our world and this is one of many ways it can affect a person. Too many people act like this doesn't exist or its a style but its not its a serious issue people have become desensitized to. When this book was first published it climbed its way to #1 in depression, to my dismay I took it down hoping to find a publisher that would be willing to work with me (of course no progress has been made) ALL poems in this book have a trigger warning but if there is *** in the title than its a suggestion and an extra precaution to not read it if you are at risk of becoming triggered. just some poems I wrote when I'm feeling low or in a dark place, my poems help me cope with my depression and other mental problems it also helps me from going all the way down in my dark times. these poems are dark, depressing and some have suicide in them, if you don't like poems like that I wouldn't recommend reading this.
