1789: Thomas Jefferson returns from France and meets Alexander Hamilton for the first time. It's hatred at first sight, but it will eventually change into something none of them would ever have imagined. Set in the 18th century, the two political enemies will have to overcome their own fears and to hide their love, while trying to build their new nation. (Jamilton / past Lams) ***And then it happened. Jefferson looked away from Burr for just a second and fixed his eyes on Alexander's. Alex's heart stopped and he felt his blood running cold into his veins - what should he do? Should he nonchalantly walk out of that damned alley, or run away, or what? He was trying to think fast, but in the end he just stayed there, frozen on his spot by Jefferson's smug stare. For what it seemed to be a lifetime, Thomas's brown eyes held his gaze, tying Alexander's blue, wide eyes to his, reading his very soul like an open book. Then, he winked and turned to Burr again, acting as if nothing had happened. Alex abruptly retreated into the deep shadows of the alley, breathing hard and sweating as if he'd just had an epiphany. You heard about all of the good things he had done for the nation, and were waiting for him when he arrived. But you couldn't seem to find him. So you started walking around, and the one and only bumped into you. Then that cliche "love at first sight" thing began. For you, at least. You were going all heart-eyes-emoji over this guy. To your delight/horror, Thomas had moved into the mansion next door to yours. You also ran into Alexander Hamilton and became good buddies with him. But you always found yourself in a situation where you had to side with one of them, and you couldn't choose. Thomas also got a bit jealous when you and Alex hung out. It also doesn't help that he's constantly busy. Will you and Thomas tie the knot and have a good life together despite several issues?

Alexander Hamilton thought taking an indenture in the Louisana Territory would lead to a better life than the one he had as an indentured clerk on St. Croix. He didn't expect to find that the world of New Orleans was much different than he'd been led to believe and that while he thought he was signing on for an indenture, his new master -- George Washington bought a slave. A slave that he's found he's more than a little attracted to. A slave he desperately tries to keep forgetting is the same age as the long dead bastard son he left behind in the Caribbean all those years ago. An AU where King George clamped down on the Committees of Correspondence the first time they assembled and didn't wait around for the Revolution to pick up steam. Instead the now exiled patriot leaders fled into Spanish New Orleans and started their lives over in a very different society from the Puritan one of the American colonies.

Y'all ready for a cheezy ass summary?! Because I'm not. ---- Basically it's a modern Hamilton/Jamilton AU (wow. much original). Thomas and Alexander are roommates and Thomas gets lung cancer and shit happens. But a new need slipped into his mind once he heard the name "Evanna Evans." He wanted love. One problem though. She was a rebel, and wanted nothing more but to separate from King George. (Warnings: Angst, Plot Twists, Sarcasm, Sass, and Dominant George;) ) "What the king wanted... was her." "-and the colonies." "That too."

Corset in Congress (A Hamilton Genderbend)
A Hamilton AU where everything is the same except Alexander is a woman and she marries Elijah Schuyler. For the most part it is told from Aaron Burr's perspective, but that might change for certain chapters. I made this simply out of curiosity, and because I watched too many animatics, plus I thought it would be interesting to see how the story would play out with a female protagonist. The character interactions, lyrics, and overall plot could be impacted in many ways, and I'd like to see how that goes. I'm basically converting lyrics into text, tweaking them based on the needs of the context. Feel free to comment on anything you like, any little mistakes that need fixing. Seriously, go wild.
