The sun filtered through the soft green leaves which rustled above our heads. Branches snapped under our feet as we stepped in circles, taking in the sight around us. "Susan? Where are we?" I felt my little brothers hand tighten around mine, his small fingers gripping my thumb and index fingers. "I don't know, Henry, I don't. . . Know, " I stared at the birds perched in the trees with vibrant colors as they stared at us, the intruders. Intruders in a world where the imagination drew each spine of each leaf and kissed each cloud that drifted across the deep blue sky. In a world demolished but an unknown being, two orphaned children find themselves ensnared in the grips of the same being who took their parents from them. Susan and Henry Thomas, desperate for release from the cold dead air of their parents house stumble upon a book, locked away in a chest in the far corner of their attic, coated in dust and cobwebs. Little did they know that the book would take them to a world where the imagination can run wild- romances blossom, friendships are tested and the trust between sister and brother can be worn thin.
