Young Alakai Sinclair grew up never knowing where he come from, any of his family, or what's just outside the invisible border of his colony. The only true family he's known is his girlfriend Clarity, and best friend Jebediah. In his world, everyone has a power. Most, being very simple, are very popular. Others, being extremely powerful, are very rare. No one knows their power or its trigger until they find out on their own. When discovered they must work to learn how to keep it under control.
But what happens when Alakai starts to question his sexuality and feelings toward Jebediah? What happens when an unheard of enemy to his city starts to attack and cause Alakai and his close ones to go out into the wasteland surrounding his city to find the enemy and bring an end to his terror?
