What happens when the most famous and influential rock stars lose the things that are most important to them? Pete Townshend wakes up one morning to discover that his nose has vanished from his face. He soon discovers that the same sort of dilemma has happened to several other musicians: Paul McCartney, David Bowie, Freddie Mercury, Mick Jagger - all of them have lost an important body part.
