Annabeth Chase, one of the bravest and most intelligent demigods of the day, was captured in the midst of the Giant War before it could be resolved, leaving the rest of the Seven scattered. Her kidnapping began the turning point of the war that ended in the giants favor, and resulted in the fall of Olympus.
She spent three years locked away, all of her friends assuming her to be dead. But when the most unexpected ally saves her, Annabeth discovers that the lines are not black and white like she's always believed. They're blurred, good and evil mixing together.
Her entire life, Annabeth was good. But in order to win the war, she has to let evil in.
