"I'm sorry, I didn't see you there!" the blue eyed man said, with a hand reached out to the young man on the floor. "Well, maybe you should look where you are going next time." The brown hair was dusted back into position, and the man helped himself back up, flat out refusing the hand that was offered to him. "I was holding many shoeboxes at once, but yeah, I can see what you're saying. I'm sorry, I'm so clumsy! Daisy here can clarify!" The young girl from earlier who had been bashed in the face gave a shy smile before burying her head behind the blue jumper. "I'm Phil by the way, nice to meet you!" And again Phil's hand was outstretched. "Dan." Dan decided to take the hand, and gave it a short shake, before returning his hands to his pockets again, regaining his defensive posture. *** Christmas is meant to be a time of cheer and happiness, but not for Dan. Following a tragic event last year, Dan is all alone and determined not to be happy. Until Phil shows him that he doesn't need to be a lone squareflake.

[complete] Seventeen-year-old Dan Howell never expected he'd meet the man of his dreams in an online chatroom. Six months later, he'd also never expected they'd end up coincidentally rooming together in a vacation house. This wouldn't have been too bad if Dan had actually told Phil the truth about his identity, not that his name was "Blake". Now, he's stuck on a week long holiday with an Internet crush who has no idea who he really is. - *note: original plot idea belongs to ButterFish; i take no credit
