Sydney and her friends, Victoria, Carrie, and Mike decide to take one last hike, in which they used to do all the time, before Sydney moves at the end of the week. Everybody packs everything they need for a simple hike and a good swim afterwards, even hanging out at a breathtaking waterfall making memories. All was fun and going fine until they take a wrong turn, and head deeper into the woods where there had been reports of missing people. Now, their only hope is to keep going and listen for the waterfall that would lead them back to safety. But can they all make it out alive? (This is my first book, so I hope you guys like it!)

The Winged
Surviving can be difficult when you're only a few inches tall. Fanged beasts see you as their prey, every creature is bigger than you, and the world seems to work against small things. Not to mention the struggles of getting from place to place... but the worst of it all? Humans. Once a year, every year, summer sweeps over the forest. A group of teenagers wander into a forest for what they assumed was going to be the summer of their life, little did they know how unprepared they were for the things to come.
