It has been a year since Erik has faked his death and Christine is coming back to the opera house with her maid, Anastasie. She seems familiar to him. Anastasie has a hidden past. So dark that she has given herself the title monstre (monster). So when things start to happen to Anastasie, Erik tries to help and to remember his forgotten past. In mere moments, Erik grasped Christine by the waist and pulled her under his protective dark cloak. There, pressed against his chest he moved into the shadows of the wings, Christine blinked at the sudden darkness, grasped Erik's firm arm around her waist with her hands, then struggled to see what was happening through the thick folds of his cloak. "Come out ghost!" A slurred voice called out. "I know you're there, and that pretty ballet rat too." This is a ROUGH DRAFT of my fanfiction of Phantom of the Opera.
