It wasn't like this was the first time I had seen him truly mad . . . it's just that . . . this is the first time I've seen him be truly mad at me. He was pacing, thinking, maybe even worrying. Maybe even doubting.
I was sat at the table with my head in my hands; contemplating the decision I had before me. I didn't know which one of them was right . . . all I know is that I have to make one, and fast. I snapped back into reality, getting a peak at his face. I could feel his piercing brown eyes watching my every move.
"I don't know, Negan." I told him. "I don't- I can't . . . you can't make me decide this!"
He slammed Lucille on to the table. "Then I fucking will!"
The room filled with an eerie silence, until he let out a heaved sigh.
"Pack your god damned bags and get the fuck out of my sight."
I was strong, I held back the tears.
He opened the door and I felt the cold night air enter the room. He turned back to face me before leaving. "When you get there, tell Rick and his pals to be ready for an all out fucking war."
The door slammed.
Sound settled.
Until I began to sob.
