It's weird how two people can change your whole life, for the better or worse. He took a step forward as I took another back. He didn't care much for the movement, grabbing onto my forearm and pulling me towards him. "what the fuck happened?" He growled, his minty-vodka breath fanning my face. With the hand not holding me in place, he softly touched my jaw. His rough calloused fingers and soft touch were a contrast to the anger seething from his body. It wasn't until then I remembered the bruises. "what do you mean?" I innocently asked, yanking my arm from his grasp. I tried to back away, but he held onto my chin with his fingers, glaring daggers into my eyes. His orbs suddenly turned a lighter shade, inspecting the damage done. "who hurt you?" His eyes not once left the bruises. I was ashamed but the anger boiling below my surface was becoming hotter and hotter and soon I would explode. "hickeys. Leave me the fuck alone, I'm fine." I said between teeth, pulling away once again. This time he took me by surprise, actually letting me walk away. I turned on my heel until he grabbed my shoulder and pulled me close. "That's not a hickey, I've seen hickeys. I've given hickeys. That is not a hickey. Now answer my damn question, who fucking hurt you!" At this point, the whole crowed turned to watch us. "You.
