With Nico and Renyea on their way to  Camp Half Blood to save the camp from the Romans, because Octavian is out for blood, the seven set off for Athens. The final battle. Piper believes she may have interpreted the prophecy somewhat but it means death to one of the two boys she loves the most then. The effects of Tartarus are setting in on Percy and Annabeth. Flashbacks and nightmares that makes your blood curl. 
Leo is set on freeing Calypso from her forsaken island. (It was obvious she was team Leo!) As the seven venture out they experience pain like never before. Death. As the receive new recruits who seem to be on the run from Gaea, the seven learn to put their guard up.
