Walking through the school halls she knew already that she was going to stick out more than anyone else. Not because of the white bandeau she wore or the jean overalls that were fully covered in paint splatters. Not because of the tattoos that concealed the tawny skin of her marred arms. Not because of the silver piercings on her face and other parts of her body. Not because of her black curly mane of hair that had grey and a mix of lilac on the ends.
  
She only stood out because of her scent. Not mixing in with the woodsy and pine scent that drifted throughout the school. Her scent was strong and rosy with a tiny bit of blood. Raven Celine Bacardi wasn't an average teenager, she was a vampire. A vampire in a town of guarded werewolves that wouldn't think twice to sink their canines into her flesh.
  
Along with her sister and parents' she moved to St. Woods because of her dad's job. Of course, they all knew it was wolf territory so they were careful about the house they chose. 
  
One thing about Raven though was that she was a free spirit.
  
Experiencing a good risk or a life or death situation was Raven's hobby. Raven never liked to be controlled. She loved to take life head on embracing whatever came her way. Raven has been through to much to not embrace what life she has left.
  
Nothing has ever been too dangerous, wild, or crazy for Raven. Maybe her fearlessness has something to do with the past she barely remembers. Either way, she wasn't going to let anyone stop her from being her.
  
Until one big bad wolf tries too. Cinder Maddox was also a fearless one,  he was the Alpha King. He was fearless, strong, bold, and merciless. No one except for the exception of his mother and best friend got some niceness out of him. But when the day comes that he goes weak-kneed at the smell of a certain vampire he's determined to make her submissive.
