Sky and her Mum Audrey have never been very close, so for her ninth birthday Audrey decides to buy Sky a really special present. She adopts a baby and welcomes her into the family. She names her Ellie and rather misses the point of bringing the family closer together, by spending all of her time looking after Ellie. Six years later, Sky and her best friend Lilou still hate Ellie. But now they are going to take things further...
