"Tears rolled down my cheeks, causing me to jerk the car a little. The rain made the night even harder to drive in, especially with tears blurring my vision every little bit. With my free hand, I rubbed my eyes from any wet substance, helping my vision more. I locked my gaze on the road, where I saw the figure for the first time. Someone, probably stupider then me, was standing in the middle of the street, like they were in their own dreamworld. But as I got closer, the figure didn't move, making me panic. I stomped on my brake pedal, but I was still going, my speed picking up. I would be passing over the Wickery Bridge, where the figure was, really soon. I frantically looked for the emergency brake, but couldn't find it. My hands started shaking, as I drew closer to it. It wasn't until I was exactly two feet away from the person, jerking hard to the left, remembering the familiar face. Rebekah. But I was too late...
