"Tears rolled down my cheeks, causing me to jerk the car a little. The rain made the night even harder to drive in, especially with tears blurring my vision every little bit. With my free hand, I rubbed my eyes from any wet substance, helping my vision more. I locked my gaze on the road, where I saw the figure for the first time. Someone, probably stupider then me, was standing in the middle of the street, like they were in their own dreamworld. But as I got closer, the figure didn't move, making me panic. I stomped on my brake pedal, but I was still going, my speed picking up. I would be passing over the Wickery Bridge, where the figure was, really soon. I frantically looked for the emergency brake, but couldn't find it. My hands started shaking, as I drew closer to it. It wasn't until I was exactly two feet away from the person, jerking hard to the left, remembering the familiar face. Rebekah. But I was too late... My car flew off the bridge, and Into the water below, where I drowned. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Images of my brother flashed into my head. How my mom and I found him here in Mystic Falls, how happy we were. We had all gotten so close, finally, after years of separation. Then, how I had fallen in love with Damon, and the time we spent together. It wasn't until my brother got hurt, that he told me what he was, and that it was him who almost killed my brother.... How I stormed out the hospital into the pouring rain.. How I drove in the car, and seen Rebekah. Then how I landed here.. Dead. "Huh..ee..hahhh." I finally escaped the factory, they kidnapped me from my college. Today is my birthday, and I had planned for it but nothing helped, only calming me down for the moment. I could feel its strength and power surround me, turning around to see a dark figure behind me. Glowing blue eyes stared at me, seeing it slowly walk toward me. My breathing becoming short again, a panic attack was on the verge. A hand was now on my shoulder and another on my cold cheek, making me look into his eyes, "Let me help you..." He whispered. Rubbing his thumb against my cheek, I slowly nod my head, when a pain began to form in my chest. I knew it was coming. I quickly get away, crawling a couple feet away. "Get away!" I yelled. My skin turning white and the pain erupting inside of me, feeling it try to escape, and I know if I let it. It will hurt this man. Suddenly, he was there in my view. My eyes slowly opened and a searing pain came to my head causing me to shut my eyes tightly again. In order to lessen the pain I took a deep breath, which made me realize how heavy my chest was. Man where in the world was I? Opening my eyes for the second time, a bright light shone directly over head. Wincing I shook my head to clear it, and blinked a couple of times to get used to the brightness. My eyes wandered around the spotless white room. Okay so one place in particular was out of question; My room. Suddenly my eyes landed on an IV a couple of feet away from me. A hospital ! An alarming thought penetrated my brain. I tried to think of the last thing that happened. Saying goodbye to Jessi. Going to a random party, beating the crap out of Seth. Getting back into my corvette. Blackness..... A car accident? I'm in here because of a car accident? Another alarming thought entered my head. I tried to sit up and failed, looking at my chest, the first thing I saw was messy, blonde hair. My mind perked up in hope.... I slowly picked up a piece of hair, off the girl's face. Seeing Jessi's peaceful face in return, put a bright smile on mine. I looked towards my other hand and saw that her fingers were gently intertwined with mine. I let out a happy sigh. Carefully and reassuringly squezing her slim hand. Unfortunatly it was a little too loud causing her to stir a bit, her head burrowing deeper into my chest. I tried not to breath as loudly just so she could go back to sleep. This action seemed to work as Jessi began to drift off into sleep, her breathing more even now. Looking at her figure next to me made me realize one important detail.
