Tara Benjamin was a regular girl living in the Gate. The Gate is an underground facility that holds healthy humans. You are born there, and you die there. Although, there is a way out. Tara's father took this way out, and too early. Tara Benjamin is shunned for her rule breaking father and she sets out for him, only wanting him to be there. On her perilous journey she meets Duke, sniper for a Metal Town. Reluctant soldier boy, he joins her. Later she meets Kris, a clown out of her era. Together, they try to fix the world with a huge band aid called murder.
