Mckayla Mckinney. Daughter of Chase Mckinney and Niece of Merritt Mckinney. Just a casual 23 year old woman living with her favourite uncle. But this only happened about 15 years ago when Merritt was loop-holed by his only brother, Chase Mckinney. Taking custody of Mckayla,( Her being age 9 and Merritt being age 30)Merritt teaches her his wonderous ways of mentalism. Merritt always was enthusiastic when talking to Mckayla about magic and the Eye. So when Merritt received his tarot card it was his 2nd favourite day ever, 1st being when he got Mckayla. Merritt, being so close to Mckayla, told her everything that happened that day he met the other Four Horsemen and everything that happened in the next year.

Now to present day when Merritt leaves Mckayla for yet another Four Horsemen project, this makes her a little more vulnorable than most 24 year olds. One reason is that people know, including the FBI, that Mckayla is related to 1/4 Horsemen. Being used for blackmailing, courtesy of Walter Tressler, the Four Horsemen is one thing. Being reunited with your father is completely another. Join Mckayla with her oh-so-wonderful life of magic, hate, realization and feelings.

When The Bell Tolls (Darra Blackwell), de -hxppygirlhxdley-

Payton Carpenter always believed in magic. Whether it be in books or real life, she knew magic was real. What she didn't know was that it was most definitely real in a small city in Australia. When Payton was asked to speak to the River City chapter of The Society of Magical Books, she wasted no time agreeing to it. The summer break before her junior was going to be filled with books, reading them and discussing them with her best friend, Lia, and people just like her. What she didn't know was that her summer vacation was going to get cursed. While in River City, Payton and Lia decided to tour around the city, taking in the glorious landscape all around them. They took a trip through the local woods when everything went wrong. Payton tripped over a random bell, one that could go in a clock tower at a church. After that, Payton's life turned upside down. Everywhere she went, death appeared. Everywhere she went, a boy named Darra Blackwell appeared. He claimed to be an elf and was totally serious about it. Then, he showed her the library where he was taught his magic, and Payton instantly fell in love. She knew magic was real, and this boy proved it to her. The only problem was that at every corner she took, death greeted her like an old friend. Darra and Payton were the only ones who knew about the curse of the bell. It was up to them to break the curse and the barrier between humans and elves.

She felt his surprise. She felt his light extinguish as he died. Then there was nothing. Nothing. Her head was swimming like it was underwater. She couldn't move. She couldn't move. Her vision blurred, a man was speaking but she couldn't hear his words. She felt the sword in her chest, but it wasn't there. He killed him. He killed him. Breathe. Did she stop? Breathe. The man, she could hear him speaking. What was he saying? Breathe. She inhaled a deep breath. And another. Then another. Things started to clear. "Breathe. That's right," the warrior coaxed. She started to take another settling breath, and his face came more into focus. The first thing she noticed was his piercing green eyes. She had never seen eyes quite like that before. She stared into them, mesmerized. He mimicked a breath and she took it with him. She was coming back. "I will not hurt you," the man kneeling before her promised. Anna knew better than to believe him. What was it he had said? Oh. "You...you said...you said 'no witnesses'." She was shaking violently. She took another deep breath. "Ah, " he uttered in acknowledgment. "You are not a witness, you are the treasure
