"You must always follow your heart, Akino. Don't let your father or I stop you from doing exactly that." Those were my mom's last words. I wanted to follow them, but it was so hard when I had just lost her and Dad. Even after a couple years I was still mourning my loss. ~~~~~~~~ Akino Hachisu is the only living heir to Hachisu Media Industries and she is also an orphan. After her parents' death, Akino's uncle takes over the family buisness and takes care of Akino until she can do so herself. Little do the authorities know, Akino's uncle hits her everywhere except hands, wrists, neck, and face in order to keep up appearances. In a fit of rage, Akino leaves her uncle's home and asks an old friend if she could live with her until further notice. Her friend says yes and that friend tells her about a school for the insanely rich. Akino takes the entrance exam and gets in, then visits her friend in the school's host club. Her friend is Haruhi Fujioka.
