Can something as simple as a color change anything?
Amalia Whitelaw has lost something important. Something that she cannot get back. Her grief has completely overtaken her, to the point that she cannot fulfill her duty as she should. She is no longer the brave, skilled Shadowhunter she once was. She has been reduced to nothing.
Until two new Shadowhunters come to the London Institute. Armed with nothing more than the weapons tucked into their belts, the two are reserved and irritated, constantly grumbling in their respective languages. Neither seem to have anything in mind for London other than their assigned missions, until they find Amalia one day, alone, in front of the piano in the music room.
