Just like many TMR fans, I wasn't too happy with my favourite character Newt dying, especially at the hands of his close friend Thomas. Therefore, I will make my first Wattpad story a short one, just a fast rewrite of those heartbreaking pages that are so loathed by the fans. It's my first try, and English isn't my first language, so I hope you will judge lightly and enjoy!

Everything has its place
Thomas' new life began in a metal box lurching through an elevator shaft. Confused, scared and filled with curiosity, he thinks the boys laughing maliciously at him are going to roast him over an open fire and eat him. When that doesn't happen, he's left with too many questions about who he is and where he came from. In his heart, though, he knows that he must become a Runner. A boy who is chosen to run through their prison, a Maze, and find an escape. This is a rewrite of the Maze Runner movies. I don't really know if rewrite is the right word, but I'm using this as an opportunity to practice my writing. It'll follow the structure of the movies with minor adjustments, especially just now in the first one. Later on more adjustments will happen, I think. I also want to include Newt/Thomas in this rewrite as I find the ship cute. My writing is a bit clunky and all-over-the-place but I hope you enjoy :) Please feel free to offer constructive criticism. It will always be welcome. Also, feel free to point out any mistakes or things that don't make sense? I've also posted this on AO3 under the same name :)
It's a girl
Imagine Teresa never came up into the maze after Thomas and Thomas isn't the main character. Imagine the box still came up every month with a different boy. What happens when a girl finally comes up how will she affect the daily lives of the gladers. Newt fanfiction based off the Maze Runner book. I decided to walk through basically the whole book and add in another girl. Some parts and some of the timeline I had to change so it makes more sense but the basics are still there same so it's okay. If you didn't read the book, some parts might be confusing, just a PSA.
