Mabel sees something in the woods and dipper suspects it is a creature of phenomena from his journal. He enlists the mystery shack crew to help him get to the bottom of this mystery, but soon goes missing himself followed by other characters in the story. Wendy then decides to save him herself with the help of the mystery shack crew. Throughout the story risks are taken, friendships dissolve, and secrets are revealed.... But is it really that big of a mystery?? You will have to find out!

Cipher is the "God" of the forest around Gravity Falls and it's his job to protect it and it's creatures. He does his job well until two young twins wonder into him home. He watches them at first and lets them live. The boy seems much more interested in all the weird things in the forest than the girl but other than that they looked harmless. Till a few days later Bill finds he's missing his journal, where he logs all his creatures and their actions. Panicked and pissed he reaches his whole forest and the whole town. Making the people fear him and the forest. But he had no luck finding his journal. Four years after Weirdmageddon, Dipper, Mabel, Stan, and Ford return to Gravity Falls for the summer. Dipper and Wendy reconnect on a deeply personal and intimate level. Dipper and Mabel fret about their parents' upcoming divorce. Plans for the future are made: Dipper has finished high school early, and has won a scholarship to Miskatonic University, on the strength of his academic work, his granduncle Ford, and one of Ford's old colleagues and teachers at Miskatonic, Prof. Rick Sanchez. Mabel is still in high school, but has been doing advanced reading in psychology. Wendy and Dipper want to plan a future together. Mabel wants to move to Gravity Falls when she finishes university to open a craft store and counseling center. The Stans are thinking of continuing to travel the world investigating paranormal phenomena and producing a show about it all along the lines of Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom. However, an ancient evil threatens Wendy and Dipper, and all of the Pines clan's hopes for the future. I have no idea how long this will take to write. This is my first attempt at fanfiction. I recently discovered the Gravity Falls show, and so, of course I am late to the party-- late by several years. However, I wanted to try my hand at this.
