Luke Skywalker is turning 8 in just a few days on Empire Day. Unfortunately, the Empire has ordered a galaxy-wide census on Empire Day. Instead of heading to the pod races, like his Uncle Owen had promised him, the Lars family heads to Mos Eisley to be counted in the census. Complications ensue when Luke runs in front of a landspeeder. The Emperor's henchman, Darth Vader, is not pleased about the disturbance and takes matters into his own hands. A Fan Reboot story of reunion and redemption.

    Excerpt:
Vader stiffened when he saw her face. He knew her. Beru. Vader knelt down next to her, using his cape to quell the bleeding from the boy's arm. Vader looked at the boy through his red lenses, sensing something he had never felt before. He should know this boy. He felt a connection.
Owen broke past the stormtroopers who were now guarding the door to the headquarters, but they detained him before he reached Vader. "Let go of me. That's my son! Let go of me." Owen broke free and ran toward Vader.
Vader turned just as Owen reached him, grabbing him with the Force by his neck and lifting Owen above him. Vader recognized him. "You!" Vader yelled. Something within Vader caused him to look back at the boy, and then to both Owen and Beru. There was no way that boy was theirs. There was no similarity. "You lie!"

Lalla Skywalker; the protective older sibling of the young Anakin Skywalker. Together they will go through trial and error, side by side through it until the end where decisions will be made that will ultimately effect the entire galaxy. ♢ "Lalla come watch this!" The young boy shouted, Lalla's head snapping upwards so she was looking at him with a smile. Before she could move to run over Anakin ran over to her, tackling her in a hug so they were both on the ground. The small boy pushed up and watched as his older sister laughed at him, her deep dimples mesmerizing him. Without thinking he quickly pushed his fingers into them. She laughed even harder while wrapping her arms tighter around him as they hugged, Anakin shoving his head into her neck ♢ "Anakin please don't make me do this" Lalla said, tears streaming down her face as she watched her brother stare at her, his long hair covering his face as his bright eyes looked at her sadly. "Join me Lalla, or die" He said, his voice cracking a bit as a sob wracked through his sister. "I can't Ani, please you're my brother" She shouted as Obi-Wan walked up behind her. She watched as Anakin's eyes moved to his as the anger appeared again. "He's the reason you won't join me. You love him more than your own brother" Anakin accused, pointing his lightsaber towards his master as Lalla looked up at the man she loved more than anything with tear filled eyes. Obi-Wan's eyes met hers, telling her that the outcome of this was not what she wanted. Highest Rankings: #1 Starwarsfanficrion #1 Obiwankenobi #1 starwars #2 anakinskywalker

Since Qui-Gon's death, Anakin had become the anchor in Obi-Wan's life. It was Anakin who gave him purpose. There was no greater pride than seeing him surpass the other Padawans, watching him grow into the prodigy everyone had expected him to be. Obi-Wan had even allowed himself a rare indulgence-gloating about his apprentice's achievements, silently basking in the knowledge that he had helped shape the Jedi who would one day be the Order's greatest. But with that pride came an overwhelming guilt. Obi-Wan had never been able to reconcile it fully, but his attachment to Anakin-his love for him-was plain as day to anyone who knew them. The way he lit up when Anakin was in the room, the way he defended his Padawan even when the Council was less than forgiving. That connection had deepened over time, morphing from the playful, nurturing affection of a master for his apprentice into something more guarded. He had become stricter with Anakin as the years passed, holding back the casual warmth he once offered so easily, because he knew that his love for Anakin was becoming too personal, too dangerous. Attachments led to fear, and fear led... well, Obi-Wan knew where that path led. He couldn't afford to let his feelings slip into attachment, even though everyone in the Temple could see it. The truth was, Anakin was his favorite. He had always been. And that scared Obi-Wan more than any battle, more than any Sith Lord. But did Anakin know that? Did Anakin realize how much he meant to Obi-Wan? Or had he misinterpreted Obi-Wan's stricter behavior as a lack of affection? The thought gnawed at Obi-Wan. He remembered sitting by Anakin's bedside, wondering if he had ever told Anakin how proud he was, how much he truly cared for him. But when Anakin had finally woken from that coma, everything had changed.
