"Why won't you sing for me?" He asked me curiously.

"I can't. I'm sorry." I told him turning around and slamming the door.

He ran and caught up with me in the hallway.

"You don't have to be afraid of me Melody." He whispered softly.

"I just can't." I choked out before running away and leaving him standing alone on the music hall.

All of Melody Atkinson's life, she has wanted to be a musician. She wasn't fantastic, and she had extreme stage fright, but she didn't want to upset her parents. They were both in a band throughout high school and college, and they were known all throughout America. She was named for a part of music, and she always was told that she would one day be as famous as her parents were. Her only problem was that she was terrified and every time she tried to sing, she would freak out. She was a musical disaster until she met Brayden Thompson who showed her the way to success. He showed her how to not be afraid, and he showed her that she wasn't as much of a disaster as she thought.
