"I can't. I'm sorry." I told him turning around and slamming the door. 

He ran and caught up with me in the hallway.

All of Melody Atkinson's life, she has wanted to be a musician. She wasn't fantastic, and she had extreme stage fright, but she didn't want to upset her parents. They were both in a band throughout high school and college, and they were known all throughout America. She was named for a part of music, and she always was told that she would one day be as famous as her parents were. Her only problem was that she was terrified and every time she tried to sing, she would freak out. She was a musical disaster until she met Brayden Thompson who showed her the way to success. The boulder was our guide. I counted to 90, like normal, and then started looking. There were always specific spots that people hid in, so they were my first points to check. Oddly, no one was in any of them. But to my 8 year old self that made the whole thing better. I started looking hard. But didn't find anyone. I started to call out, starting to get worried.
