Seven-And-A-half Loves

Somehow the future turned out better than expected. With reduced crime rates, higher environmental awareness and most importantly - more couples happily skipping into the sunset. The need for harmony and happiness overpowers the selfish nature of humans. It's a fairytale come true. Except there is a gray blob in the name of Jane ruining the pretty picture. Having her heart broken one too many times, she's become pessimistic and refuses to believe in the concept of 'true love'.

Claire and Sam are trying to prove the world isn't going to return to its disastrous state which it was in during the twenty-first century. They are desperately refusing to believe that love has become overrated once again. The fear is hidden behind a selfless mask, but once one sees through the cracks - unexpected emotions can be found. Ones which start to leak through as soon as Jane walks through the doors. With her sharp tongue and bitter soul she threatens to destroy everything the pair of them have built. Including Claire's castle of ignorance and Sam's walls of pretence.

Cue a man from Jane's past, a secret that threatens to tear apart her family and a realisation or two. Will she learn how to swim or finally drown in her sorrow?
