Book 1 of 2 There is no doubt that this story is about love, but romance might be a smaller part of it. This story is about love in all of its different disguises. It's about friends and family who would burn the world for each other, and family who would burn the world to be away from one another. But mainly, this story is about Rose living out her last year in high school with all of its difficulties and hardships and love and acceptance and weird teachers and mythical creatures. And even after all of that, you're still mainly searching for romance? Fine. One of Rose's hardships is the undeniable truth that she's in love with her best friend, but her best friend doesn't love her back...right?Complete
