Evie wants to land a rich boy so she can afford a great lawyer for her mother. She also wants to seek revenge on her older half-sister.

Jay wants to have fun and not just steal things for Jafar all the time. He also wants to get his father's super suit out of that dusty museum and use it for himself.

And Carlos? He just wants superpowers and to make it out of high school alive. He's glad to be part of their plans at all.

Carlos is devastated in the isle knowing he DIDN'T steal the wand but his own friends never looked deeper into it and went by the fake "proof" they received by Chad and Mal has to make the painful Decision to send him back to the isle. Carlos is labeled a villain and monster from the people of Auradon, and a backstabber from the VKS and the Villains still on the isle. Carlos finally snapped after years of being tormented by Mal and Jay, pushed around by his mother, and now sent away and having his whole life being ripped from him for something he didn't do because Ben and Mal were incompetent when handling the situation, and follows the path both Audrey and Cassandra went down, and quite literally the same path Cass did because he breaks out of the isle and TAKES the Moonstone before Mal can put it safely in The Isle Can Mal, Evie, Jay, Ben and Fairy Godmother realize their horrible mistake in time and can Cassandra and Audrey try to talk him out of the path he's going knowing they been down that road before, or is Carlos and Auradon a lost cause.
