There parents Shelby and Corey were in a car crash when they were on their way to get them from their grandparents house on a freezing, slick winter night.  Shelby and Corey got sent to the hospital and soon died after. Later that week the twins got sent to an adoption center. While they were in the adoption center the twin finally got adopted, but by different family's.
