"You may think that you're not the best looking girl in the world, but to me you're beyond beautiful. I wouldn't ask for more." Nicole has been balancing out her life between school and work. With no time for romance, will one LOUSY date change it all?

Crossing Unexpected Paths is a story of two people paving their way through the ups and downs of being single and the woes of falling in love. Will they ever conquer it?

*A/N: Some language may be vulgar. The story is my first one published. I'll do my best to upload on Wednesdays and Fridays.*

Nothing to lose

39 parts Complete

My best friend Greyson McNamara and I have been partners in crime for a while now. Pranks, sneaking out to go to parties, joy riding in our parents' cars, all that crazy teen stuff, we made a pact to do together. And surprise surprise, dating each other was never on that list. I mean it's not like Grey is a bad looking guy or anything. Wink wink. Now back to that no dating thing. For years, we heard about how we would be a cute couple and how we are perfect for each other. Of course, we always laughed it off until one day we didn't. Our senior year has ended with two back to back breakups and all we can think is that we have nothing to lose. That includes us thinking that it can't hurt to try to date each other for the summer before college. We made a promise to each other that we'll stay friends no matter what. Like I said we have nothing to lose. But what if I'm wrong?
