Serena and Ash have been best friends ever since they were 5 years old. They were always there for each other, and were closer than siblings.

11 years later, Ash and Serena are both attending Lumiose High in Kalos. They are still best friends, and nothing much has changed. There was only thing - Serena had been in love with Ash ever since the first day they had met. But slowly, year after year, she had given up hope that he would ever like her back.

Meanwhile, Ash had always been in love with his best friend Serena. But he never had the courage to tell her how he felt. He finally worked up the courage to tell her his feelings, when someone else stole her heart...
