The Unforgettable

"I still couldn't believe it. After all these years that we've been together I still love you as I did in the beginning, but you," Avantika poked out a finger at Ryan, "you have gotten over me? You fucking liar!"
Ryan could see his world shatter down with his own eyes but felt helpless. He searched for words but couldn't find any, and after a long pause, he said, "Honey what's wrong with you? I swear I never cheated on you."
She couldn't stand the fact of being betrayed. She looked at Ryan in disbelief and said, "It's over!"
Avantika opened the door and went out. And out of that door went Ryan's life and he couldn't do anything to save it.

"Shefali," Ryan said in a low voice, "I haven't slept a night since the day I first saw you. I can't focus on anything but you. I want to be with you forever Shefali. I love you."
He had finally said it. He confessed his feelings to his one and only true love. It took him three long months to recognize that he fell in love with Shefali at first sight and finally tell her about his feelings.
Tension was building up as Shefali was not saying anything. The fear of rejection, and far greater than that, the fear of losing her was killing Ryan from the inside.
She finally spoke, "Ryan, I also feel the same way about you. I wanted to tell you but I was afraid that you would reject me and stop talking to me. I love you too."
Her words meant more than anything on Earth for Ryan. He had never been happier. He grabbed her in his arms. He felt the warmth of her love. He then took her hands in his, looked into her eyes and said, "I hold your hand today and I will not leave this hand till I die."
