Tainted Soul

Life was simple for Benjamin. He enjoyed doing his duty as a vanquisher, taking down demons and monsters as tasked to him by his superiors. He had talent: he was a legacy of a former great vanquisher. But then he begins to take notice of the chaos around him, and be affected by it. Questions raise, indecision forms, and he can't drown the headache of confliction out with alchohol, as he always had done. And worst of all, someone appears to be acting behind his back, orchestrating his life from nearby. It could be his friends, or someone he has never met. With a shaky resolve, he's liable to killed at any time in his line of work, especially while investigating a potential plot against the government agency he belongs to. Does an uncertain death await Ben, or will faith take hold of him and show him the light?
