"W-who are you? W-why am I here?" I struggled against the ropes for dramatic effect. He leaned in towards me, now our faces several inches apart. "That doesn't make any sense," I roll my eyes and grab the suitcases, following behind them. ... Liz is forced to move across the hemisphere and move in with her godmother, Claudia, and her horrible son, Raven, yes like the black bird. Raven doesn't like people invading her personal space, and doesn't trust easily. And worse, he tests the shit out of Liz from the day she moved in. Liz on the other hand, is a survivor. Aviana, born into a world as a witch where she is not seen very highly by the other species. Vampires use them for their magic, but Aviana is not all witch, and the vampire lord may be getting a bit more than what he asked for. "A witch, a human, and a vampire walk into a bar." My hands tightened around the glass in my hands. I have heard this joke too many times, and am not a big fan of the punch line. As a witch, you're not looked up to very much, more as a dog for the vampire creatures. A Number of Wrong Turns
Being given the task of investigating Nevada's bordello's should be the dream job of any young man. But Faré isn't an ordinary young man and this particular brothel has more than lace behind the curtains. The clientele isn't human, but then, neither is his girlfriend, employer or closest friend; he's not a bigot. The problem is that the bordello is being operated by the Andskoti, a group of aliens who don't have the best of intentions for the human race. They're also strong, smart and the fact that they look human makes catching them a whole lot harder. That's a lot to land in the hands of an 18 year old. Fortunately, he's only expected to find them; once he has, Linith, Rheda and Ayjer can come in and clean house. But there is a snag in the plan. Faré has the worst kind of luck. (This was a semi-challenge on my part, to see if I could write a short story. I set myself a target of 7000 words and... failed miserably. Nonetheless, it's a fun tale and the kind of lighthearted style I've been trying to get back into for a while. I hope you enjoy)Complete

"Chilling in my comfy onesie! Chilling, chilling, chilling in my unicorn onesie!" I sang while doing a little dance. Then I heard laughing behind me. "Who goes there?" I said spinning around and doing a ninja pose. Oh my lord! Nosebleed! I am looking at two (hot) guys right now. One was laughing and one was glaring. My eyes narrowed on the one laughing. Is he laughing at me??? "What you laughing at? Huh? Huh? You wanna piece of me? Do ya? Come on I'll take you! I'll beat you're arse!" I said jumping back and fourth on my heels. "Blake you idiot, stop laughing and get her or so help me I will kick you in the throat!" Mr. Grumpy threatened. "Whaaa???" I questioned confuzzled. "Why you so mean to me?" He whined but walked to me anyways. "Shut up, I'll start the van." He growled and left the room. Whoah, someone's on there period. And I am one hundred percent sure it's not me. "Come on, let's go." Blake said picking me up bridal style. "What? No! I don't wanna! I don't wanna!" I yelled thrashing in his arms. Standing up on his four paws again, he positioned himself so that he was sitting on his hind legs with his front paws resting on my shoulders. I couldn't stop the burst of laughter that escaped me when he showed me his sharp, white fangs that gleamed under the moonlight. "But grandmother, what big mouth and teeth you have." - Wherein, teenage werewolf Samuel meets his human mate Emily who lives thousands of miles away from him.
