Odin is an average kid. Well, he thinks he average, but he is obviously not. When he gets whooshed to the past, he meets a strange girl and a strange task. Will Odin be able to get back home?
*This is a short-story I wrote for a class assignment. We had to include one element of sci-fi, so mine has time travel.*

Kari is a simple girl, born of Asgard and Midgard. Her mother supposedly died in childbirth, so she spent her life on Asgard. But when her father commits a serious crime when she is only three years of age, she is cast down to Midgard for his faults. It's ten years later when Loki appears on Midgard for reasons unknown to most. He ends up taking Kari back to Asgard and keeps her close. All Loki knows is the Other has promised that Loki shall be punished for his failure in New York, and he knows who the Other will take it out on. With a new threat rising, Kari must learn to adapt to being an Asgardian that can fight and control magic. But will she be able to adapt in time to save herself? In order to determine that he is not a danger to those around him with his constant talking to himself they send him to a secluded location in a disguise. What happens when he meets a young woman who is also a magical practitioner and has been speaking to Loki all along. I do not own the characters portrayed in this story.
