Er, at least, that's how it feels to her. This monster is her own self, her own thoughts. She truly is her own worst enemy. She criticizes every move she makes, she rains accusations down on herself like there's no tomorrow, and she slowly chips away at all of her own self confidence and happiness. When new friends and new experiences, even new romance, starts to appear, Madison feels the monster begin to lose its hold over her, it's deafening voice getting quieter. When tragedy strikes though, it turns her world upside down, forcing her to come face to face with her enemy in battle. That is... Herself. This is the story of a regular high school girl and her journey through battling depression and learning to love herself and the God that made her.
