We lived in a land of peace and land of sanctuary. There was no wind, no earthquakes, no volcanic eruptions, nor unsolved questions. We didn't recycle because we found a way to non-pollute the earth, it was our home.
We didn't have war, nor unknown outbreaks. It was a perfect world a perfect society.
Not Really, Not Anymore.
A fight broke out disturbing our peace. It made people, our people, to pick sides. They were tumbled into a world they didn't know existed.
We had to run and hide and if not, you were already dead.

Evolution
There are a lot of things you don't really think about until they happen to you. Take rape, for instance. I always thought, "That won't happen to me. I have a boyfriend. I trust him. He would never take advantage of me like that..." I couldn't have been more wrong. Love in this day and age is often confused for manipulation and abuse. The warning signs are here. The things we say will tell us everything that is wrong. You are worth more than what you think you are. It's not your fault. If they tell you otherwise, get out. Burn the bridge. Always remember someone is waiting for you to walk into their life. Someone needs you. Someone loves you. Getting away from all of the wrong people and finding the right ones could save you. I can promise you right now that it saved me. These are the journal entries and selected poems from my first experience of love that left a unpleasant taste in my mouth- quite literally. The After Effects
After it all happened, the Plague created what feels like a whole new world. Survivors created new lives for themselves and carried on with their lives. Me? I didn't get the chance to create a new life. Thanks to my absolutely wonderful father figure, I was forced to become an entirely different person. Thankfully I was able to escape his peachy influence and take some control of my new life. What I don't know is the Plague brought on after effects.
