Link is just being himself on another epic journey when all of the sudden he gets transported to the Pokémon universe. He must learn how to survive in this new world, while trying to get back to his normal world.
Also, if you are reading this then that means that this story is either incomplete or I just forgot to come back and erase this portion.

Legend raised an impatient eyebrow, and Wild turned away. How was he going to explain this? He'd told them virtually nothing of his journey. How was he supposed to convey how terrible this situation was? That the Blights had been revived. "Come on. We're heading towards Zora's Domain." A gang-meets-Wild fic with an actual plot (I think). The goddesses have decided to mix it up. The pieces have found new homes and the new hero must work her way to defeat who she once knew as her hero. Ganondorf, whom they worked so hard to defeat, is supposed to be her close ally. As Zelda fights Link, she meets others who have inherited spirits through the cycles. Through her journey, she realizes she must learn to trust her new comrades in order to defeat Link. (This story is undergoing a rewrite. Uh... it's pretty rough to get through.
