Jake is our step dad but he's definitely been more of a parent to us as if he was our dad. He was there for us more than mom, she has a secret but I haven't been able to figure that out. Together we packed up our stuff and moved to the southern part of Georgia, found an abandoned settlement and built what we liked to call Haven Point.

Firstly, A trigger warning for mental health/ self inflicted wounds when reading. you're only 18 years old. your name is zoe. you always had a love for the apocalypse but didn't think it would truly happen. and you slowly learn that nobody is who they say they are. Nobody is to be trusted. Things are gonna fall apart, and nobody can save us now. This book is being rewritten again and hopefully is better than the first and second time it was published.
