Jales was an outsider. Not like the kids at school that were claimed as the "loners" He is a Stargazer. A stargazer has the ability to breathe in space, he actually doesn't even need to breathe to survive. He is able to stay under water for hours without needing to come up once. Everyone at school knew he was different. So they pushed him away, and if anyone were to go near him, they would all scatter and hide. Everyone was afraid of him, except one person. Her name is Seth. She just moved to Wisconsin (where everything is set) and she takes a liking to Jales. Not in the romantic way of course. She keeps pushing to get him to talk to her. He felt as if she was like him. Stargazers have a way to identify other Stargazers. By the small star behind their left ear. But when they both are taken away from Earth and sent to a place of forgotten, the fate of their race hangs in the balance. Will they be able to save Earth and the last of their kind? Still hurting from her mom's accident and thinking it was her fault her mom ended up dying and now to go on top of that she has to live with the dad that abandoned her all those years ago. She also lost interest in riding horses, too until she meets the three most snobby, rich kids named Madison, Bonnie, and Lucy, who think they are better than everyone when it comes to riding horses, but Rose sure doesn't think she is. Rose thinks she can beat them, so Rose challenges her and tells her that she can beat her, so they make a deal, but the one think Rose didn't think of was that she stopped ridding because of her mom's accident and that means she has to get back on a horse. At first she doesn't think she can until a beautiful grayish white mustang comes to her dad's farm, who Rose names later as Stardust. Rose finally realizes that she can do this alone, she's going to need help from her father to help her get back on and also have help from the new cute boy, Austin who's helping for his community service. At first he doesn't want to be there, but eventually finds a reason to stay. Rose has had a good life up until the day of the accident, but now she's got to face loss, and heartbreak, but she's got to learn to get back in the race. This story holds romance, family, trust, understanding the past, and conquering your fears. *Read to find out more, I know it may sound boring from the description, but it's really not.
