Alive Again

"'Her. Pick her.' Anna whispers while standing right next to me in my office. I don't get why she whispered. I'm the only one who can see and hear her. I look up to see who she's talking about to see a beautiful woman with jet-black hair, pale skin, and deep-purple eyes. That's definitely different. I look down at the folder in my hand to see that her name is Alessandra Storme.
'So Ms. Storme, you are here for the job of being the nanny to my twins. Is that correct?' I ask her.
' Yes it is, Mr. Slate. What other reason would I have for being here?' She asks me with a defensive tone.
'Oh you know. I'm hot and rich so I have to make sure that you're actually going to do your job and not just try to get with me.' I tell her with a smirk on my face.
'Well newsflash, Mr. Slate, not everybody wants to be with. I would rather not get the job then work for an arrogant prick like you,' she sasses then storms out.
'Maddox!' Anna yells at me.
'What?' I ask her.
'You are going to hire her so don't run her off.' She tells me with her hands on her hip.
'Don't worry. I already planned on it.' I tell her while looking out my office window and watching the beautiful Alessandra storm to her car and drive off.
