Set 5 years after Alduin's Defeat When a string of murders run through Dragonsreach, a young handmaiden, Diana, takes up the case by chance, but as the mysteries unfold and she gets closer to the truth, sinister forces begin to take interest.
Read on as Diana unravels a plot that will shape Whiterun forever
(Note, as the game has limited memory, keep in mind that it implies things are much bigger then they are represented, thus in this story. The settings are much more grand, so more servants and space and housing etc)

The Song of Deirdre Part I
Deirdre Morningsong returns to Skyrim seeking vengeance on the Nords who murdered her parents, only to be captured by Imperial soldiers who mistake her for a Stormcloak rebel. After escaping both the Imperial dungeons and the destructive return of the dragon Alduin, she resolves to discover what strange power is within her, and what the dragons have to do with it. Follows the main quest lines of the game, weaving them into a story of adventure and romance, with numerous twists on the canon. I'm hoping it's equally enjoyable for those who've played the game and those who haven't. Trigger warnings: rape is mentioned, one is attempted and prevented, but none are completed. Some other sexual assault. The first chapters are PG-13, but later ones become R-rated. (Feedback on appropriate ratings appreciated.) Skyrim is part of the Elder Scrolls series of games, copyright by Bethesda Softworks. The image for the book cover is from the game. I've only posted Part I here, but will soon post the rest (four parts total, 62 chapters). I've worked in nonfiction up to now because it's easier for me to describe places and events I can experience first-hand. Marcurio, a mercenary magician, is hired by the mysterious Dovahkiin for the second time. But this time, he's been recruited to accompany her in her attempt to uncover her past and find out why her first memory is of her waking up outside Skyrim's borders in the middle of a Stormcloak/Imperial skirmish. This is a story injected into my personal Skyrim character and experience. It's a creative spin on the existing characters and situations, giving it more life and reality than the mindless video game characters in the game.
