An army of monsters are spilling out of the pit of eternal damnation, Tartarus, and out into the mortal world. With Tartarus unable to contain the monsters within his cavernous body and unwilling to heal the rift between the mortal world and the pit, there is only one thing that can be done. A pure, compassionate, and courageous soul must be willing to sacrifice themselves to heal the rift. It's a sacrifice no one is willing to let happen, but it must be done. The only question that remains... Who will be the one to be sacrificed?

Unaware of the threat at hand, camps Half Blood and Jupiter are accepting new demigods within their borders almost daily just as they always have. Among those that find their way in, four teens discover the new and wonderous world that is considered a safe haven for people like them. Now in their new homes, the four seek out love and acceptance in their new found friends and family which was something they previously thought was impossible. However, they soon discover the full meaning of a life of a demigod. How will they contribute to help save the world and the place they now call home?

Almost thirty years have passed since the second Titan War. At least, that's what everyone keeps telling Bianca. She doesn't quite understand what the second Titan War is- or was, for that matter- or why it's important. Bianca doesn't understand a lot of things. For example: why she is just now realizing that her parents were demigods- children of the Greek gods themselves- and she's what people at camp call a "legacy." She also doesn't understand why her Aunt Piper practically tossed her into a car with two men she's never met and shipped her off to this aforementioned camp. A magic camp for descendants of the gods. Camp Half Blood. Bianca doesn't understand why everyone at Camp Half Blood seems to whisper under their breaths whenever she passes by. She doesn't understand the class system or the sub divisions of legacies, or how magic works, or how to fight monsters. She doesn't understand why all of these people who were painted as best friends have grown so distant. But the biggest thing she doesn't understand? Definitely her existence. Kids who aren't biologically related to their parents shouldn't be getting claimed by both their godly grandparents. ----------------------------------------------------------------- The Greek Tragedies series: 1/4 The world and a lot of the adult characters belong to Rick Riordan, don't sue me please~
