The Way We Are Now It takes a time to trust someone. And yes, this is a cliché, but it takes less than a moment to break it. Nevertheless, the truth remains unspoken. We don't, no, we didn't want this. It was not supposed to be like this. But that is how it is. My heart, after all that emptiness, cannot be filled. It is stoic, prone to ephemeral sadness, because, underneath the hurt, I feel a small sound. A word, a soft one. I will tell you. It reminds you of a memory almost forgotten. You want to cry as you hear it, but it makes you smile, just a bit. You don't, no, you didn't want this. It was not supposed to be like this!!!

Promises were broken, By words left unspoken, Friendships clasped untied, By truth that are hidden in lies, Years of secret coded memories are taken away, By blood forces that bind yet led me astray.~ Dear friend Read on to find the entire poem.
