Jackie Mayleah Wells, the daughter of Harrison Wells, after the horrible car crash, that caused the death of her mother. Her own father became different, avoided her, she assumed it was because of grief. She finally thinks it is time that she brings her father to the cemetery to visit her mother's grave, and the grave of a baby, her twin sister that died in childbirth, Jesse Quick Wells. Too bad the day she chooses to come back, the particle accelerator explodes, leaving her in a coma for ten months.
Emily Bett Smoak, the younger sister of Felicity Smoak, lives in Central City as a criminologist, she agreed with her sister to let Jackie live with her since Jackie was having family problems. But she is hit with the same particle accelerator and is thrown into a coma as well.
