Kali Amaris, a famed super-villain, is at the top of S.T.A.R Labs watch list. But suddenly, a bigger threat pushes her out of the way and The Flash is forced to ask her for help.
The secretive but sweet brunette with an attitude doesn't go down without a fight and leaves more than a couple of bruises on her fellow teammates and supposed leader, Barry Allen.

Barry Allen is just a kid. He goes to high school and has romantic problems just like every kid. So how is it that a bolt of lightning hit him and now he's got superpowers? One thing's for sure he's got the power to save people and that isn't something that he can pass up not after losing both of his parents. But it isn't going to be easy. The Dark Matter that gave him his powers also created his worst enemy someone who can move just as fast as him. The problem is that it seems that there are two of them. Should be impossible right? When Iris and her friend Kamilla return to Central City from a day of reporting in National City, they soon find that things aren't quite right back at home, quickly seeing out how bad things really have gotten when they find all of Team Flash missing, and something terrible now lurking in Star Labs' halls, a villain's return threatening to destroy the team from within. And before long, it soon becomes clear that the only thing standing between the monster's plot and the end of the world, is Iris' connection to her husband. But will it be enough? This eight-part story takes place in Season Six after Crisis, but doesn't have anything to do with the Mirrorverse arc, so... I guess imagine a longer time before that arc's start? (Haha). I had a ton of fun writing this, and put a lot of time and energy into making it, and I'm really proud of how it turned out. I hope you all enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it!
