This young woman bonds with a horse, that hadn't bonded with anyone since Austin's sister. Riding her drunk, not to be a good idea, when Austin finds out slowly what's been up. Soon finding out there was more to the story than he even knew.
A misguided tragity leads Austin straight to drinking his pain away, while the love of his life protects something innocent, and deals something elegal.
The death of innocents sends her in a spiral. A gun trigger pulled. Only Austin can bring her back from the ledge.

This is a spin-off story from "Now You Are Mine" involving the backstory of a "Drew" character. Even though this story is connected to NYAM, you don't have to read both of them. Parts of those two stories do intervene and they share the same timeline. I suggest you read them both, but again it's not crucial for understanding each one of them. Also, the story is not suitable for those younger than 18 since it includes mature scenes of sex, violence, abuse etc., which are not by any means condoned by the author. He also has to take charge and become a hero for those who can't against an unwavering bully in a far-away world. You may think it's that easy to break it off with her but Jackson's and Amanda's parents are best friends and plan for them to get married once they are out of highschool. Dakotas feelings grow more and more everytime she sees Jackson. The real question though is does Jacksons feelings grow for Dakota as well? ***********This book is kind of like a spin off from College mom-to-be. You do not HAVE to read College mom-to-be first to understand this book because it has it's own story line. It's basically just the characters because the story is from the daughter's point of view now. After a bunch of run ins with the both of them, Sammi makes up a rumor about James, insinuating it was Emma who started it. James watches Emma embarrass herself on multiple different occasions, And still wont explain why he is upset with her. But, after Sammi gets a football player to put a cockroach in Emma's hair in class, Emma runs out to leave. She then runs into James, who Offers to give her a ride home. He then tells her he fiund out it was Sammi who started the rumor. And to make it up to her, he brings her to see her favorite series, 'Raven-Man' at the Drive-in theatre.Concluida
