When Lux Ringer became nine, the unexpected happens, America is taken over and in slaved by Russia. But six years later on her way to school, she meets Hayden Collins, a 16 year old Russian boy who came over seas with his mother, and although it was his country who came, who saw and who conquered, he is surprisingly disgusted with his race and decides to help Lux do something. Rebel against the system and take back their voice. This novel follows two delinquents as they fight their way to the top, resisting what they know is wrong and defending their freedom. Because sometimes rules are meant to be broken and opportunities--no matter how risky--are meant to be given a chance.
