Book 1) This story is about a young 18 year old boy named Obadiah Emanuel King from Charlotte NC. Upon moving out, he was able the get a job as a video game tester. One day as he was leaving his job, he over hears two people talking about how a griffin nearly destroyed the world 117 years ago. He didn't know what to make of this information, so he went to see a historian by the name of Walter William Wilson. When he tells Walter what he had overheard, Walter stares at Obadiah. Walter then goes over to a book shelf and pulls out an old book. He dusts it off and opens it. The book told of a Griffin that sought to destroy the world many years ago. The book also talks about a bird of fire and the great battle that took place. The bird of fire defeated the Griffin at the cost of it's life. The end of the book has a warning...
