13 year old Lacy is just a shy girl that was in the 7th grade. She wasn't particularly social, and only had a few friends. She knew she could sing, and play the ukelele. Her best friend could also sing, and play piano. Lacy has anxiety. She worries too much, and thinks that she isn't worth it. She relies on music to keep her sane. She then gets the idea to go on "America's Next Icon" with her best friend. This is her story of Lacy, her best friend Anna, and how far they go to get inspired, and how they inspire and save Lacy's life.
