"I don't want to chase their ghosts anymore, it's- it's too hard." I sniffed and rested my head on Hanji's shoulder.
"What do you mean by 'chasing their ghosts'?" Hanji asked looking down at me.
"Marco, my mom. Every soldier who has died in the hands of the Titans. I- I don't want to follow their paths. I don't want to die." I chocked out as tears streamed down my cheeks.
"You're not going to die, Rin. You're strong, your extremely talented. Hell, I bet you're better than Levi. But listen, your not going to die." She reassured.
I pulled away and looked her in the eyes, her glasses reflecting my teary gaze.
"Then why does it feel like the end?"
