"And whose fault is that?" I interrupted him while arching an eyebrow. It's no secret that Jackson couldn't care less about maths, so why did he seem so desperate now? Besides, if he listened or tried like everyone else, maybe he wouldn't be failing.
He glared at me for a second before sighing, "Please just listen," he said hope in his eyes, "everyone knows that you're top of the class and I'm not. Our grades are coming out in a couple weeks and if I don't clean up my act my mom's gonna kill me! All I'm asked is that you'll do me a favour and tutor me?"
"What's in it for me?" I asked folding my arms. That sounded selfish but why should I help the person who I hate and who also happens to hate me?
"I don't know, you'll go to heaven?" He questioned, "what do you want?"
"I don't know yet but it'll come to me," I smirked mischievously.
"So is it a deal?" He asked outstretching his arm for me to shake.
"It's a deal." I sighed while shaking his hand. As soon as we both let go we wiped our hands on our jeans, "but first, I'm gonna need a rabies shot."
